International Executive MBA - Public Management In-service management program for public management

Goals and Benefits

The MBA Public Management study programme offers advanced training for executives in public areas. This programme is exceptional and unique in the German-speaking countries. The FIBAA-accredited university course is held at the University of Salzburg in collaboration with excellent academics from Germany, Austria,Switzerland, USA and Belgium. The main part of the courses will be held in Eglish, however at least 40% will be in German.
The "Master of Business Administration" degree is awarded on completion of the course.

Public management is subject to constant modernisation processes which entail radical changes. These changes result in demand for higher competence in executives and managerial staff members in the area of public management.

The goal of the MBA program is to convey up-to-date leadership competence and management tools to help deal with current challenges in the public management area. This brings us to the key phrase "public governance", which describes the control of complex organisations and the resulting problems. MBA Public Management optimally creates the strategic link between the areas of management and administration, which both appear to be necessary for the management of public duties while taking economic aspects into consideration.

The MBA program takes place in Salzburg as well as other international venues: Washington D.C. (USA), Berlin (G), Lausanne (CH)/Brussels, and Vienna (A). The unique locations offer great infrastructure with modern designed teaching facilities. They are part of an internationally-oriented concept.
